Please note the surgery will be closed Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2020

Thank you for bearing with us during this challenging and unpredictable time. To reduce risk please avoid coming to the surgery unnecessarily, consider only phoning for urgent matters, using online services where possible to free up the phone lines for clinicians trying to conduct telephone consultations

From Friday 27th March 2020, due to the currently ongoing Pandemic, the Practice will be closed between 12.30pm - 1.30pm until further notice. If you need anything urgently during the above times, please telephone the practice on 0114 2488187

In light of the current COVID pandemic please can we ask that you share with friends and family the information posted on here as it comes directly from the surgery.

Please be patient with us as we try and support the community in the best way.

Appointments: All booked GP appointments have been converted to telephone appointments, and the doctor will telephone you on the day of your appointment from 8.30am. They will discuss the best way forward. Please make sure you have your phone with you at all times so that you do not miss this call.

Annual review appointments for diabetes, COPD and asthma etc with the nurse are also now telephone appointments and they will try to call you at the time of your previously scheduled appointment.

PLEASE ENSURE WE HAVE YOUR UP TO DATE MOBILE PHONE NUMBERS.

For nurse appointments which cannot be done over the phone, ie, smears, bloods, immunisations, blood pressure , coils, depo injections, etc we are asking that you still attend for your scheduled appointment, but if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms please contact us to reschedule your appointment. The doors will be locked but please use the buzzer in the lobby, you will be asked screening questions before we let you in.

Prescription/Collection : We want to limit the number of patients attending the surgery where possible. If you have prescriptions which are awaiting collection please note we can send them to the pharmacy of your choice, but you will need to inform us of this by telephone informing us where you would like them to go. If you still need to collect from surgery, the doors will be locked, please use the buzzer in the lobby and we will bring this to you.

We would encourage as many patients as possible to register to order prescriptions online where they can. We will ask you a number of questions over the phone to establish your identity so that you don’t have to attend to show ID.
