Can't get a convenient appointment: We have appointments available at our hubs on evenings and weekends, please contact Reception or ring 111 if we are closed.

The medical centre will be closed on the following dates for Staff Training:

Friday 30th November 2018 between 11.30 - 12.30.

When the surgery is closed if you need medical attention please telephone the surgery and this will then connect you to the Out of Hours service. Alternatively telephone 111 Service or attend the Walk-in-Centre on Broad Lane Sheffield. In an emergency dial 999.

The NHS WALK-IN SERVICE, situated on Broad Lane, Sheffield, S1 4BT, is open between 08:00hrs and 22:00 daily. This is a Nurse led service and offers treatment for Minor illnesses (eg sore throats, emergency contraception, etc) without appointment; available 7 days a week including Bank Holidays.


If your problem cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please dial 111, Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both mobiles and landlines.  Your call, which will be recorded, will be answered by a trained receptionist or nurse who will assess the urgency of the call. You may be asked to attend the Emergency Treatment Centre situated in the Northern General Hospital

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.


The new 111 number replaces the

0845 46 47 NHS Direct Number .
