Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel please collect a holiday form from reception for each person travelling.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  Hand it back into Reception when completed and nurse will contact you regarding any immunisations you may need.

If your holiday is less than four weeks away please call at the surgery to complete a holiday form (making the receptionist aware of your departure date).  If a holiday form is filled in on line with a departure of less than four weeks we cannot guarantee a nurse appointment for your travel vaccinations to be given.

Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:

Europe Europe & RussiaNorth America North America
Central America Central Americaindia South America
egypt Carribeanlithuania Africa
bulgaria Middle Eastpoland Central Asia
china East Asiachina Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travelto allow the vaccines to work.
